You draw music with light,
at arm’s length.
A sensory experience for Meta Quest 3. No controllers, no menus, no wrong notes.
Plays in the browser, nothing to install.
Darkness. A single light breathes.
You touch it and six more unfold in an arc, within arm’s reach.
Touch
Pick up a piece with a pinch, between index finger and thumb.
Move
Take it anywhere. Two nearby pieces join with a thread of light.
Let go
It stays floating. A pulse runs along the chain and each piece sounds as it passes.
Something happens when the light comes back to itself.
Compose your song.
Keep your loops in a dome above your head. Turn layers on and off with a pinch: verse, chorus, bridge. Bring a loop back down whenever you want to change it.
The whole song travels in a link. Whoever opens it can listen, in VR or on a phone, and keep composing. Share it with a button, a QR code or a link to copy.

Behind the project.

- Impossible to sound bad: pentatonic scale and rhythm quantized to 96 BPM.
- Neon on black, fog and floating dust. No lights, no shadows.
- Bare hands, seated, all the action within 60 cm of your head.
- Spatial audio: each piece sounds from where it is.
How it’s made
- Three.js + WebXR
- Synthesized Web Audio, no samples
- Vite
- Native Quest 3 hand tracking
- Screen mode with gyroscope and stereo panning
- PWA with offline support
- Lightweight: no post-processing, unlit materials, instancing
